FemiPro Formula: The Math Behind 400 mg of Blend in One Capsule
The FemiPro formula is 400 mg of listed blend per capsule: 350 mg of herbs and 50 mg of probiotic strains. Because lines are listed by weight, each weighs at most the total divided by its place. Cranberry is at most 175 mg. These are ceilings, not printed amounts.

The rule01
How does the order of a blend set a ceiling?
The order of a blend sets a ceiling because ingredients inside a blend must be listed by weight, heaviest first (21 CFR 101.36, supplement labeling). A line in place k can weigh no more than the total divided by k.
The reason is simple. If the second line weighed more than half the blend, it would outweigh the first line and would have to be listed first. So the second line stays at or under half, the third at or under a third, and so on.
This gives a maximum, never an amount. Each line may weigh far less, and the label does not say how much less.
Herbal blend02
What are the ceilings for the four herbal lines?
The four herbal lines in FemiPro weigh at most 350, 175, 116.7 and 87.5 mg, in label order. Divide 350 by 1, 2, 3 and 4 to see why.
Herbal blend ceilings
- 1Mimosa pudica seed extract≤ 350 mg
- 2Cranberry extract (30% PAC)≤ 175 mg
- 3Bearberry leaf (uva-ursi)≤ 116.7 mg
- 4Berberine hydrochloride extract 8%≤ 87.5 mg
Probiotic strain ceilings
- 1Lactobacillus crispatus LCr86≤ 50 mg
- 2Lactobacillus acidophilus LA88≤ 25 mg
- 3Lactobacillus plantarum N13≤ 16.7 mg
- 4Lactobacillus gasseri LG08≤ 12.5 mg
- 5Lactobacillus casei LC16≤ 10 mg
Step 1. The label prints two totals only: 350 mg for the "UTI Herbal Blend" and 50 mg for the "Probiotic Blend".
Step 2. A blend lists its lines from most to least by weight, so line k can weigh at most the total divided by k.
Step 3. So cranberry is at most 175 mg (at most about 52 mg of PACs at 30%), berberine extract at most 87.5 mg, and the five strains average 10 mg with no CFU count.
These are our sums from the label, not lab results. A blend has to list its total and its order, not single amounts (21 CFR 101.36, supplement labeling).
| Place | Ingredient | Math | At most |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Mimosa pudica seed extract | 350 / 1 | 350 mg |
| 2 | Cranberry extract, 30% PAC | 350 / 2 | 175 mg |
| 3 | Bearberry leaf | 350 / 3 | 116.7 mg |
| 4 | Berberine HCl extract 8% | 350 / 4 | 87.5 mg |
Going one step further03
What do the ceilings imply for PACs and berberine?
The ceilings imply that cranberry gives at most about 52 mg of proanthocyanidins per capsule and berberine extract at most 87.5 mg. If "8%" means berberine, the berberine is at most 7 mg.
The PAC figure follows from 30% of 175 mg, which is 52.5 mg. The label does not define the 8%, so the 7 mg figure is an if. Usual berberine intakes in the safety literature run 250 to 500 mg two or three times a day (LiverTox, Berberine), so the capsule likely sits far below that. Any sentence that calls the dose strong or weak is therefore a guess.
Cranberry trials of recurrent UTI prevention used a range of products and doses, and the review that pooled them did not set one standard (Cochrane 2023, cranberries for preventing UTIs). So no FemiPro amount can be matched to a proven one.

How is the 50 mg probiotic blend divided?
The 50 mg probiotic blend is divided among five strains, so the ceilings are 50, 25, 16.7, 12.5 and 10 mg. The average is 10 mg per strain.
Milligrams are not a live count. The label prints no CFU count, so you cannot tell how many bacteria reach you. Probiotic effects are strain-specific, which means results for one strain do not carry to another (NCCIH, Probiotics: usefulness and safety).
| Place | Strain | At most |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | L. crispatus LCr86 | 50 mg |
| 2 | L. acidophilus LA88 | 25 mg |
| 3 | L. plantarum N13 | 16.7 mg |
| 4 | L. gasseri LG08 | 12.5 mg |
| 5 | L. casei LC16 | 10 mg |
Limits05
What can the FemiPro formula math not tell you?
The math cannot tell you the real amount of any ingredient, whether a dose matches a trial, or whether the capsule works. It only bounds the possibilities.
The lines may be split evenly or lopsided. Mimosa pudica could hold most of the herbal blend, and the traditional urinary use that exists has no controlled human trial behind it (Muhammad 2016, Mimosa pudica review). Our FemiPro ingredient guide covers each line.
It also cannot tell you about quality. Two capsules with the same ceilings could hold very different extracts, and no lab report is published for either.
Ask the seller for a full breakdown and a lab report before you rely on any figure here. See the how FemiPro works page for the claim side.

FAQ06
FemiPro formula math questions, answered
What is the total weight of the FemiPro formula per capsule?
The label lists 400 mg of blend: a 350 mg herbal blend plus a 50 mg probiotic blend. The gelatin shell and other ingredients are not part of that total.
Can the amount of each ingredient in FemiPro be known?
Only as a range. The order gives each line a ceiling, such as 175 mg for cranberry. The true amount may be lower, and the maker has not printed it.
Is the 8% in berberine extract 8% berberine?
The label does not define it. If it means 8% berberine, the ceiling is about 7 mg, since 8% of 87.5 mg is 7 mg. Treat that as an if, not a fact.
How much of the formula is mimosa pudica?
Between a sliver and all 350 mg of the herbal blend. Being listed first lets it be the largest line, but the label gives no figure to confirm that.
