FemiPro Supplement Facts: Every Label Line

Quick answer

FemiPro supplement facts list one capsule per serving and 30 servings per bottle.

Each capsule holds a 350 mg herbal blend and a 50 mg probiotic blend. No Daily Value is set for either blend, and no single amount or CFU count is printed.

At a glance01

What are the FemiPro supplement facts?

The FemiPro supplement facts are the boxed panel on the right side of the label. It sets the serving at one capsule, counts 30 servings in the bottle and lists two blends: 350 mg of herbs and 50 mg of probiotics.

Under the blends come five other ingredients that make up the shell and the fill. A footnote says no Daily Value exists for either blend, and the distributor's address closes the panel.

Word for word02

What does the full FemiPro label say?

The full FemiPro label covers what is in the capsule, how to take it and who distributes it, across three panels. Directions and cautions sit on the left, the brand name and three claims in the middle, and the Supplement Facts on the right.

Every word is typed out below. The tagline "CLINICALLY RESEARCHED INGREDIENTS" refers to research on ingredients in general; no study of the capsule is cited.

Tap the panel03

How do you read the FemiPro Supplement Facts panel?

Read the panel from the top down: serving size, then each blend with its total, then the footnote and the other ingredients. Each blend runs from heaviest line to lightest, the one clue the label gives about amounts (21 CFR 101.36, supplement labeling).

Tap a numbered spot on the panel to read that part in plain words.

Tap a number to read that part of the panel.

  1. Serving size

1 capsule; 30 servings per container.

  2. % Daily Value

Both blends carry two asterisks: no Daily Value exists for them.

  3. UTI Herbal Blend

350 mg for four herbal lines together, listed by weight.

  4. Cranberry PACs

Cranberry extract standardized to 30% proanthocyanidin; its own amount is not printed.

  5. Berberine 8%

'Granular Berberine Hydrochloride Extract 8% (bark/root)'. The plant and the meaning of 8% are not stated.

  6. Probiotic Blend

50 mg for five Lactobacillus strains; no CFU count.

  7. Footnote

'** Daily Value (DV) not established.'

  8. Other ingredients

The gelatin shell and four helpers. Gelatin is animal-derived.

  9. Distributor

FemiPro of Tallmadge, Ohio, with its own email address.

Blend totals04

Why does FemiPro list blend totals instead of single amounts?

FemiPro lists blend totals because federal labeling rules allow it. Under 21 CFR 101.36, a named blend must show its total weight and list its ingredients by weight, but not each one's amount (21 CFR 101.36, supplement labeling).

The order still yields a ceiling. A line can never outweigh the lines above it, so line 2 is at most half the blend, line 3 at most a third and line 4 at most a quarter. Take cranberry as the worked example.

  1. Start with the total

The herbal blend weighs 350 mg.

  2. Find the place

Cranberry extract is line 2 of 4.

  3. Divide

350 divided by 2 is 175 mg at most. At 30% PACs, that is at most about 52 mg of PACs.

The same rule caps bearberry leaf at about 116.7 mg and the berberine extract at 87.5 mg. Real amounts may be lower. Each line is compared with research on the FemiPro ingredients list.

Daily Value05

What does DV not established mean on the FemiPro label?

"DV not established" means no official daily target exists for the ingredients in either FemiPro blend. Daily Values are set for nutrients such as vitamin C, calcium or iron. Herbs and probiotics have none.

So both blend lines carry a double asterisk instead of a percentage, and the footnote reads "** Daily Value (DV) not established." That is normal for herbal products, not a warning.

It does leave you without a yardstick. To judge an amount you have to compare it with research, as on how much cranberry PAC a capsule can hold.

Other ingredients06

What are the other ingredients in FemiPro?

The other ingredients in FemiPro are gelatin, brown rice flour, magnesium stearate, olive oil and silicon dioxide. They form the capsule and help it fill evenly, and they do not count toward either blend's weight.

Gelatin is the capsule shell. The capsule shell is gelatin, which comes from animals, so FemiPro is not vegetarian or vegan as labeled. A vegetarian badge in the seller's artwork does not change that.

  • Gelatin (capsule): the shell; animal-derived
  • Brown rice flour: a filler; gluten free by nature
  • Magnesium stearate: a common flow aid
  • Olive oil: a small amount of oil; the label does not say why
  • Silicon dioxide: an anti-caking agent that keeps powder loose

Badge notes are on FemiPro testing and quality.

Marks and codes07

What do the asterisks, marks and V1 on the label mean?

The asterisks tie each front claim to the FDA statement: the claims were not evaluated, and the capsule is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease (21 CFR 101.93, structure/function claims).

The GMP, "Made in the USA" and "FDA registered facility" marks are printed claims. No facility, auditor or date is named, and registration is not approval (NIH ODS, Supplements: What You Need to Know). The "V1" tab most likely marks a label version, not a lot.

Distributor and storage08

Who distributes FemiPro, and how should you store it?

FemiPro is distributed by FemiPro of Tallmadge, Ohio, according to the label; no factory is named. Myfemipro is a U.S. stocking partner, neither distributor nor maker.

Store the bottle in a cool, dry place and out of children's reach, as the label says. If the safety seal is damaged or missing, do not use it.

FAQ09

Supplement facts questions

Why is there no percent Daily Value for FemiPro's blends?

Because no Daily Value exists for herbal extracts or probiotic strains. Daily Values cover nutrients such as vitamins and minerals. FemiPro's panel marks both blends with a double asterisk and the footnote 'Daily Value (DV) not established', which is standard for herbal products and not a safety warning.

Who is the distributor on the FemiPro label?

The label names FemiPro, 285 Northeast Ave, Tallmadge, OH 44278, with the email [email protected]. That is a distributor, not a manufacturer, and no factory is named. Tracking and refunds on placed orders go through the order desk at +1 (302) 200-3480, not the Ohio address.

What does V1 mean on the FemiPro label?

V1 is a small tab printed near the left edge of the label. It most likely marks the label version, a first edition of the artwork. It is not a lot number or an expiry date, and it says nothing about testing or quality.

How should FemiPro be stored?

In a cool, dry place, with the cap closed and out of children's reach, as the label directs. Skip warm, humid spots such as a bathroom shelf or a hot car, since the capsules hold probiotic cultures. Do not use the bottle if its safety seal is damaged or missing.

Is FemiPro made in the USA?

The label prints 'Made in the USA using foreign and U.S. ingredients', so some ingredients are imported. It also says the capsules come from an FDA registered facility but does not name the factory. Those are printed marks; we found no audit or certificate that confirms them.

What does the asterisk on FemiPro's claims mean?

Each asterisk after 'Bladder Control Support', 'Microbiome Balance' and 'Healthy Urinary System' points to the FDA statement. It says the FDA has not evaluated those claims and that FemiPro is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Federal rules require it (21 CFR 101.93, structure/function claims).
